There's a variety of delicious breakfast choices available and the rooms are cozy and stylish with closets and a pull-out sofa.

The terrace with sunshades and the garden with many seating areas as well as the lounge and library area created a lot of atmosphere. The beds were good.
There were always flies and dead wasps swimming in the pool. Also in the corridors were many dead insects. The service in the restaurant seemed hectic and uncoordinated. The focus was on the service of larger groups.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Beautiful view. Nice, spacious room. Relaxing accommodation with charming surrounding villages.
With this location, insects and especially wasps unfortunately do not stay away.

The bedroom was very nice, the layout itself was very nice.
The food and breakfast was overpriced. The fruit salad looked old and unappetizing and did not taste good either. Ratatouille and scrambled eggs were not refilled, they did not even check if anything was missing.

The surroundings, service and ambience were hard to beat.
Pricing policy - we booked at the rack rate for the time of year which was just a few days outside the low season. The hotel still showed a sign at the roadside offering room rates for passing tourists at 78 euros which was 52 euros less our rate- we queried this on checking in and was told they had been too busy to remove the sign. As it was still there the next morning, we were given with some persistence 1 complimentary breakfast per couple. I know all hotels do last minute deals but for such an establishment, I think they should have been more discreet. Had we not seen the sign, we would have been happy with the booked rate because of the quality provided.

The double room we stayed in were airy with a pull out sofa. The breakfast was lovely with eggs and bacon and including eggs and bacon and had something for everyone. Everything was simply good.

La Bastide Du Calalou, a member of the Signature Collection, is a very quiet and calm hotel, which might seem strange at first, but it soon became the most relaxing and perfect secret mountain getaway. the lack of atmosphere is actually balanced out by the complete tranquility and the soothing sounds of nature. Our room was comfortable and equipped with all the necessary facilities. What really stood out was the breakfast, which was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. From delicious coffee to fresh bread and a wide selection of dishes to choose from, it was simply amazing. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. 😊.

The outside dining terrase is lovely in the summer.
The room was small for the amount we paid and not having air conditioning when it's 35 degrees outside is not ideal. The mini-bar lock was broken so we couldn't access it (we were told it would be fixed after we left). However the thing that annoyed us most was that in this heat gentlemen have to wear long trousers for dinner. Utterly outdated and riduculous... we thought that we were there to relax not to be told what we can and can't wear.

I had a wonderful stay with stunning views of the nearby mountains in this quiet, peaceful area. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained with ample parking. The staff members were friendly and attentive. The hotel offers a great location for those looking for a quiet escape near the mountains and the Mediterranean coast.
Nothing could have been better.

A well appointed and relaxing hotel with flexible employees depending on the waiter. Lovely, stunning location in the back garden or at a rest stop somewhere in the beautiful surrounding area.
